He needs no introduction, especially in the UAE, where radio presenter Kris Fade’s voice has been such a familiar sound- he’s become a staple in Dubai culture. But the Australian presenter, the morning host of the daily Kris Fade show on Virgin Radio DXB recently started his own business: Fade Fit Kids which he talks about in detail in this weeks DUBAI WORKS podcast.
Fade Fit Kids offers healthy, and adequately-priced snacks for children in the UAE, a flaw Kris noticed in the market due to the lack of the product.
The product now sells three different flavours, distributed across the UAE’s petrol stations and supermarkets- and has even gained a demographic so adjacent to what it initially wanted, the adults.
Having two children himself, Kris says he started the company because of his two daughters after noticing the lack in healthy options for children’ snacks- on the way to school, at school or throughout the day.
Noushi and Kiki both have roles as GM and CFO of Fade Fit Kids- and fittingly so!
The brand, once targeting providing helathy snacks for children, has been so well-received that even the adults have added it to their guilt-free snack range.
