Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, just released a series of tweets in regards to the current Qatar crisis.
Dr Anwar stated in the tweets that the UAE will have to go on without Qatar and come up with a new set of relations in the Gulf to replace the older ones.
The tweets were just published this Wednesday afternoon.
Now that Qatar crisis has taken so long, important to look beyond “crisis” & think of it as new set of relations in Gulf replacing old ones.

Barring Qatar’s review of past policies, current state will continue for a while. New regional relationships will emerge & strengthen.

Just over a week ago, he stated that the UAE would not escalate the matter past diplomatic measures and that diplomacy remains to be their only path.Â
