The announcement early Monday morning that Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt, and soon followed by the Maldives, Yemen and Libya severing ties with Qatar caused panic among those travelling between the country in the coming weeks and months.
Etihad, Emirates, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Gulf Air and Egypt Air have suspended flights, most effective from tomorrow June 6.
Throughout the day a question loomed over Qatar Airways who failed to make an official announcement. However late this afternoon the airline announced a suspension of flights to Saudi, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt from June 6 until further notice. Full details here.
