A budget Saudi Arabian airline tweeted today that it would welcome any Saudi crew who were working with Qatar Airways to come and join the crew.
flynas, a carrier which recently signed a huge deal to purchase 80 new single aisle jets tweeted the following.
“it welcomes the Saudi employees working on Qatar Airways airbus A320, and invites anyone with the desire to join flynas and work among its crew”.
And the airline is not job specific. Anyone from pilots, sales, security, maintenance and personnel are invited to apply. The tweet already has over 800 retweets.
Following a shock shake up in gulf politics last week, when Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt cut diplomatic ties with Qatar and land, road and sea links to the country were cut off.
Air space has been closed, major airline offices and news networks have been shut and Qataris were given 14 days to leave the UAE, while diplomats had 48 hours.
Kuwait is currently trying to mediate between the countries, while the US are in talks with Saudi to further prevent terrorism in the region.
