While there has been no official statement from beIN Sports or television service providers, viewers are reporting that service has resumed to the previously blocked channel.
Yes, the blue screen is gone!
This comes as a great surprise to sports fans, especially soccer fans as the run up to the English Premier League has started with matches kicking off next month.
BeIN Sports TV is provided by Al Jazeera, a company based in Qatar, and was banned following the fallout last month.
The channel is a main source sporting content for a lot of people in the UAE and the decision to block the channel was not a popular one.
Viewers in the UAE are now tentatively celebrating the return of their favourite sports to their screens.
