5 Reasons Why You Have To Check Out The Fabulous Iftar At Dubai Opera

Avatar

Iftar at Dubai Opera made its debut last year and it’s absolutely perfect for a special occasion.

The venue totally transforms for the Holy Month Of Ramadan; guests are greeted with a special Ramadan pop up market in the foyer before they enter the auditorium – where the seats have magically disappeared and the venue has been redecorated to add an Arabian touch.

Expect exceptional food, service and an iftar experience you truly won’t get anywhere else, here are five reasons to visit this year…

5. The stunning venue completely transforms for the Holy Month

If you’ve ever visited the beautiful theatre you’ll know how the ornate design can lend itself to banquet hall vibes.

The stall seats disappear to make way for the dining set up as the venue transforms into a magnificent flat floor space for the entire month, with live cooking stations, draping festoon lighting and beautiful Arabian inspired decor.

4. The food is served up by the award winning Sean Connolly restaurant

So you know you’re in good hands. The award winning restaurant is preparing a mix of classic Arabic dishes with a modern twist, while carving stations across the venue offer up a brilliant array of choice.

Enjoy the savories but save room for the beautiful display of sweets, desserts and Ramadan juices.

The view from the private majilis is stunning

3. Live music all evening sets the scene

Nothing adds to the atmosphere more than music and the choice of classic and Arabic melodies is the perfect mix. The musicians perform throughout the evening, which starts from sunset and runs until 9.30pm.

2. You’ll be in great company

The iftar made its debut last year and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai was one of the first to visit the breathtaking iftar.

This venue undoubtedly has the royal seal of approval, so you know it’s worth a visit!
