Dubai’s Waterfront Market Will Be Bustling With UAE National Day Celebrations For The Long Weekend
The Waterfront Market is gearing up its venue for one-of-a-kind UAE National Day celebrations with tons and TONS of fun things in store for visitors. With traditional henna painting, caricature drawing, parades, a walking globe act… It really does NOT get more National Day than this!
The fun and entertainment that will have you celebrating true Emirati culture will take place from December 2 until December 5, from 2pm to 10pm daily.
For an interesting and memorable day out this National Day, take a stroll along the promenade and explore the 5 heritage Areesh tents
Each tent will offer a different activity stemmed from the local culture, from the Dukkan ‘traditional grocery store’ and the gargoor net making to the fishnet weaving, a traditional majlis and live cooking demonstrations of Emirati dishes.
Something for all the family, take a stroll along the Waterfront promenade to indulge in festive treats like mini pancakes, churros, PLUS two art and craft stations for the kids.
They will also festoon the venue with luminous ‘white show’ to bring the magic of the season. Little ones will love the Snow King and Queen stilt-walkers that venue has planned out at the main atrium.

In addition to the National Day festivities, visitors can also partake in the annual Murals & Art exhibition with a giant mural wall for the kids to colour in and arts and crafts all-day
You can also take a look around at some of the amazing artwork created by talented artists in the region for the Murals & Art competition, ahead of the unveiling of the winner on Dec 15.
