Avatar

With the MASSIVE line-up at dxbeats happening this Saturday, April 28 at Dubai Opera, it’s going to be a night of epic proportions.

Forget any ideas you’ve got about Dubai Opera as a sit-down venue, it’s transforming for dxbeats and it sounds awesome! Drinks stations will line the dance floor and it’s flat floor mode, so expect to be dancing on your feet all night.

And it’s just been announced that TWO artists will be performing music that’s never been heard on a live stage in the UAE before (Narcy and Sharmoofers fans, get excited for new tunes!).

Yasmine Hamdan is headlining, along with the Sharmoofers, The Wanton Bishops, Moh Flow, Manal and a guest appearance from Iraqi rapper based in Canada, Narcy

With the event just days away, here’s a musical taster for what’s in store…

1. Al Balad, Yasmine Hamdan

Lebanese born Yasmine’s tunes give people life and the artist who now calls Paris home is one of the big name headliners this year. You might know her from her time with the Soapkills, but now Yasmine is performing solo and people are loving her unique sound. Take a listen, get excited…

2. Moftaqed El Habiba, Sharmoofers

The three-piece band who believe music is the way to happiness are bound to put a huge smile on your face. The Sharmoofers have millions of followers across their social media platforms so the buzz around this performance is huge!

And we can now reveal the Sharmoofers are bringing their latest single “Moftaqed El Habiba” to a Dubai stage for the first time!

Prepare to laugh and prepare to dance…

3. Sun Rising, The Wanton Bishops

Hailing from Beirut, The Wanton Bishops have some truly incredible gigs under their belt including opening for The Who, Guns N’ Roses, and Lana Del Rey, and more major festival performances. And now they can add one of the biggest Arab musical festivals to the list.

4. Makoo, Narcy

This song is everything and we cannot WAIT till Narcy takes the stage. The Iraqi born Canadian based hip-hop MC has already reached Dubai and people are buzzing for his guest appearance set.

It’s also been announced that Narcy will be performing music which has not been released yet, so lucky fans will get the inside track on his newest hits, epic!

5. I’m with the banned: Moh Flow feat. Pusha T

Rapper Moh Flow made his name on the Dubai music scene and his tune ‘Options’, which he collaborated with Pusha T on has just hit one million streams on Spotify. Epic! He was born in Syria, raised in Saudi and now he’s well established on the Dubai music scene.

6. Taj, Manal

Manal inspires women as her written tunes are made to empower females across the Arab world. And incredibly at just 24, the urban songstress has racked up over ten million YouTube views to date. And with Sony Music Entertainment recently signing her to their books, Manal is one to watch, do not miss this set.

Her newest tune ‘Nah’ was released just four days ago and has already received 1.5MILLION views on YouTube..slay girl!

You can see ALL these artists live on Saturday at Dubai Opera
