This Epic ’80s Diner Has Just Opened In BurJuman And You Need To Go There ASAP

One would typically associate the mall with shopping, some sort of entertainment – the cinema, ice rink and because we’re in Dubai even a snow park – and finally a meal when we’re exhausted and need to put those bags down for a bit.

But you’re going to have to reverse the order of things now that Big Daddy’s is on the dining scene. The iconic New York diner has opened in BurJuman Centre and it is perhaps one of the reasons (if not the only reason) why you’d want to go to the mall more often.

The food menu is a blast from the past

All-day-breakfast includes pancakes, French toast and eggs the way you like ’em. For lunch and dinner you have classics like mac & cheese, burgers and grilled sandwiches.

The milkshakes and desserts are apt for cheat day

Warning: you could drool on the menu when you read your options. These include vanilla shake with Oreo cookies, New York cheesecake, banana split and…we’re not saying more, you go discover the rest.

This diner has a kids menu

It’s full of treats that will please the little ones – mini pancakes, cheese sandy, hot dog and even chocolate milk.

And if you think that’s cool…wait till we tell you it has a gluten-free menu too

It features gluten-free pancakes, waffles, milkshakes and even burgers. In short: you can enjoy a three-course meal without having to worry.

And you experience all that in a place that’s UBER cool

No no, we’re not joking. See it to believe it! Think ’80s tunes, movie memorabilia, arcade games (FYI, they’re free and there are so many different ones from the ’80s) and of course fantastic decor.
