Falalallalalalla!
‘Tis the season, once more, the most heartwarming and genuinely memorable time of the year. The festive season is upon us, once again, and as you may know by now- it is also one Dubai does big. You’ve probably already noticed your takeaway coffee cups are in the red, white and green, and that’s just the beginning to all the festivities that’s about to envelop the entire Emirate.
Expect large Christmas trees, that one Mariah Carey festive hit on repeat and loads of great offers for you, your friends and families to marvel over. It’s only the most magical time of the year!
AND Jumeirah, with its many hotels and restos under its belt, has a list of ideas you can opt-in for Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Thanksgiving dinners, so keep on scrolling:
There’s nothing like a roast dinner to make you feel at home, and whether you have your family around or not, counting your blessings through the sharing of a traditional Christmas feast will take you there. After all, home is where the heart is. The centre of it all is the turkey to be consumed, complete with all the trimmings and sauce, along with homemade mince pies. YUM!
AND these different venues at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel have got you sorted – Where you have the option to pick up your fresh turkeys and take it home with you. Cooking made even easier!Â
Note: The different venues have different pickup dates for the turkey, and the side dishes that come with it vary depending on the place. So it’s essential you know how you want your at-home dinner vibes to turn out.Â

The annual Madinat Jumeirah Festive Market is back!
The best part about this outdoor festival is that it’s perfect for the cooler weather. Not to mention it’s free entry for all, and you can truly feel the spirit of Christmas with children running around, and families taking part in all the fun activities and games; from snow fights (yes, in the desert!) to bungee jumping, to an array of food and bevvie options. This is what Xmas dreams are made of.
It runs for 16 days between December 13th-28th, 2019 at the Fort Island, Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre.
This winter wonderland of sorts will also have a live band to keep everyone in the musical joys of the festive season, as well as a gingerbread house available for everyone to decorate, magical abra tours that will be decked out in Santa and cookie decor. Cute!
The timings will be as follows:
Sunday – Wednesday from 3 pm till late*
Thursday – Saturday from 12pm till late
(December 24 and 25 timings will start from 12pm till late!)
More info here.
It’s that time of the year again, the time where you and your colleagues will laugh about the gifts to be exchanged, or karaoke to some tunes and let loose.
Luckily, many of Jumeirah’s establishments have restaurants that can accommodate different groups of people: from a group of 10, 20 or more- there are so many options where your team can celebrate with pizzazz!
Take Tortuga in Madinat Jumeirah, for example, for a dose of Mexican Christmas feels with a mariachi band, the most energetic atmosphere and a three-course set menu starting from AED179 per person. Or how ’bout Valencia feels, while you and your colleagues dine on a well-deserved three-course set menu at Al Hambra- serving you delish tapas at this FAB tavern.
Whatever the vibe is, Jumeirah’s many hotels and restos have the answer. Link here for more options.Â
