3. Dubai South District

You’ll fall in love with this urban residential area for the quality build, slick design, local fitness amenities and nearby schooling options, and the fact that this neighbourhood is the most affordable on the list is just the cherry on top.

Previously named Dubai World Central, Dubai South District is located near the EXPO2020 site, which will become a mini-city post EXPO and the Al Maktoum International Airport, the ambitious build which is touted to become the world’s biggest airport.

A two-bedroom apartment rental costs AED66,000 with a sale price of AED910,000 while the average three bed apartment costs AED1,600,000.

2. Dubai Silicon Oasis

Fancy villa life but worried about the effect a large house could have on the environment? Worry not, choose Dubai Silicon Oasis and rest easy knowing the smart community has key initiatives in place to ensure a sustainable environment including the conversion of regular lamps to LED, motion sensors to trigger street and building lights and automatic temperature regulators.

Renters will pay on average AED73,000 for a two bed apartment and AED84,000 for two bed villas. People looking to rent a larger space will pay AED160,000 and AED165,000 for three and four bed villas.

Buyers are looking at AED915,000 for two bed villas and up to AED3,800,000 for five beds.
