The UN International Day of Charity falls on September 5 and there are PLENTY of ways for residents to give back.
The annual day was created to raise awareness for all charitably activities on a local and international level, it’s a global day and here’s how you can get involved right here in Dubai.
So many of us have lots of dry foods, clothing (and maybe even some educational supplies) lying around in our homes, going to waste. A quick trip to donate the goods lets you help someone else.
Food, clothing and educational supplies are all welcome and will be donated to those in need. Not sure what to donate? Here’s a quick outline of what’s accepted:
And contributions above one kilo are welcome of course!
There are FIVE drop-off points in Dubai at Mövenpick hotel lobbies across Dubai – no excuse not to get involved!
Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai,
Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach,
Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate,
Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Al Mamzar Dubai
Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers
Part of a wider global campaign, there are 30 hotels across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East involved. Dubai residents and guests can visit any of the above outlets to make a donation.
