If you’re one of the many residents who work in Media City, you’ll know that while there are a couple of class watering-holes and restos, the area is badly in need of something that checks all the boxes.
Come 6pm, (5pm if your boss is sound) you’re looking for reasonably priced drinks and great eats, shisha and a terrace with sprawling views you know you’re onto a winner.

New York bar vibes combined with sprawling Dubai views
This is a resto with a rooftop bar, formal dining area, dedicated lounges and two terraces that are perfect for after work drinks – it’s huge!
Think beautiful soft-leather booths for group dinners, and a very slick bar area where expertly mixed cocktails are the order of the day.
The menu is reasonably priced, (finally!) with a laid-back international menu to match the chilled dining scene. The menu offers a mix of Arabic, European, Asian and Italian plates, but Hi-Five is mixing up the expected dishes with a Hi-Five twist.
First time visiting? Try the Hi-Five Hummus, Hi-Five falafel and signature croquettes… all very much worthy of your dirhams.
AED25 drinks every week day – what a steal!
Lunch – sorted! Hi-Five is doing an unreal lunch three-course lunch deal every Sunday to Thursday from 12pm to 3pm for just AED59. Good, right?!
YAS! Finally a Thursday ladies night worth hitting. The deal is three drinks, OR AED99 for free flowing drinks with nachos (the dream combo?!).
Friday is brunch day, and the a la carte brunch costs AED355 – (tip: Keep an eye on the Entertainer, ‘cos brunch at Hi-Five will soon be available on it).
Happy hour is every Sunday till Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, and you’ll pay just AED25 per drink. Meet ya there?
