8. Dubai Shopping Festival Opening Ceremony officially kicks off on December 16 and you can watch it live

This sounds amazing, it’s a festival to kick off a festival! Featuring live entertainment from 2 A-list Arabic headline artists, Mohammed Hamaki and Balqees Fathi accompanied by a Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain Show, which will be broadcast live on MBC1, Sama Dubai and Dubai TV.

7. Dubai Lights looks incredible

6 installations from artists around the world will light up Dubai. Transferred from the longest-running light festival in Amsterdam, you can go City Gazing at DIFC Gate Avenue, and enjoy the lights to a unique soundtrack.

There’ll also be installations at The Point, La Mer, and Last Exit Al Khawaneej, don’t miss their stunning lights displays!

6. Fashionista and beauty lovers, there are amazing events just for you

Global brands are putting their own individual stamp on Dubai Shopping Festival, including Dior, Fenty and more. Kat Von D is launching a new concealer and to celebrate, they’re welcoming YOU to learn the tips and tricks of the trade from the global director of artistry for KVD Beauty – FAB!

Are you obsessed with Shein? Then look no further… You can now experience a fashion-focused walk-through series with fun activations that enable you to express your wonderful! From December 16 until 23, there’s also 15% off the brand – amazing!

5. Market out of the Box, your fave fun festival at Burj Park

Welcome one and all to epic market vibes that Gen Z are going to lovvveeee! This year, it’s a whirl-wind of activities, featuring two retro-funky concepts, a Padel Tennis Court, a Roller Skate Rink, plus heaps of comps and ‘gram ops!

Think of this as a shopping festival with a twist. It’s a much-loved annual event with a mix of local and international brands, food stands, live entertainment, and kid’s activities.

4. Spectacular drone shows daily

Have you seen a drone show light up the night sky? Well, get this… The Dubai Shopping Festival drone shows will take place 45 days IN. A. ROW.

Like nothing you’ve seen before, The Beach opposite JBR and Bluewaters is hosting the longest-running drone show in the Middle East and Africa this DSF from 16 Dec to 30 Jan.

There are 3 unique shows to look forward to, with two scheduled each day at 7PM & 930PM, each show has a different theme so there’s something for everyone!

3. The Dubai Shopping Festival fireworks need ZERO introduction… And the big festivities kick off on December 16

Each year there are fireworks citywide to celebrate the much-loved festival. Book a table for a front seat and enjoy the festivities. This year there’ll be offers, promos, and entertainment shows happening throughout.

The opening festivities kick off on December 16, there’ll be fireworks displays citywide at 8.30PM, and then daily fireworks shows throughout DSF at different locations across the city, starting this weekend at Dubai Festival City Mall.

2. Date night has never sounded better: Hit Cinema in the Sand at Zero Gravity

And before you even ask… YES! Love Actually IS part of the lineup!

There’s a different movie every two weeks, entry is AED75, which is fully redeemable on food and drinks, with snacks including popcorn, nachos, chicken wings and burgers.
