Only Blu was built with 22 panoramic windows that bring the marine world right to your table. You’ll spot everything from sharks to lionfish as you dine surrounded by vibrant coral life. Teens Lounge (Ages 12–18)
The Teens Lounge is an arcade-style space with movie nights, air hockey, and water gun games. It’s fun, safe, and gives older kids a cool space to hang out and make friends.

It offers a variety of interactive classes you can sign up for and also has an Overwater Fitness Centre. And for me, the best part was that every workout comes with a view!

Over 50 coral nursery structures have been placed around the resort, with 2,500 coral fragments successfully transplanted. These efforts have led to richer biodiversity and healthier reef systems — a true example of responsible tourism in action.
Discarded fishing nets are banned in the Maldives, but many still drift in from other parts of the world. Ailafushi collects and upcycles these into handmade bracelets sold to guests, with proceeds funding coral restoration. It’s a beautiful initiative — turning ocean waste into wearable change.
