REVIEW: Ritmo Arriba Nights Bring Latin Fire And Nikkei Flavour To Above Eleven Dubai

There are dinners… and then there are nights that turn into memories. Ritmo Arriba at Above Eleven Dubai is definitely the latter. Every Friday and Saturday, this rooftop hotspot serves up a fusion of Peruvian-Japanese flavours, live Latin beats, and views that stretch across the Palm and Marina. The vibe? Electric. The energy? Non-stop. The moment you step onto the terrace, you just know you’re in for a night that’s going somewhere.

If you’re craving a dinner that turns into a party… one where the music gets under your skin, where plates are made for sharing, and where sitting still is nearly impossible, Ritmo Arriba is it

Starters that set the rhythm

  • Angus Bao: Soft, pillowy bao stuffed with melt-in-your-mouth beef… rich, savoury, and a little addictive. One bite in and we knew we were off to a strong start.
  • Above Eleven Cebiche: The showstopper. Seabass, A11 leche de tigre, crispy calamari, cancha and sweet potato — tangy, citrusy and beautifully textured. It’s fresh, fiery and absolutely untouchable. If you only order ONE starter… it should be this.
  • Chicken Anticuchos: juicy, smoky, herby skewers served with chimichurri, rocoto, criollo, and aji amarillo. Every bite is a ‘yep, another one!’
  • Sushi Trolley (yes, an actual trolley): The chef rolls up tableside (literally) and hand-rolls sushi on the spot. The Salmon Mango Roll brought sweet-meets-fresh tropical vibes, while the Wagyu Roll was lush, buttery and bold. 10/10 for the experience and the flavour.

Mains with major presence

  • Lomo Saltado: A Peruvian classic with wagyu tenderloin, onions, tomatoes and crispy potatoes — hearty, saucy, soulful and seriously satisfying. Comfort food, but make it rooftop-luxury.
  • Pollo a la Parrilla: Golden, smoky, beautifully grilled baby chicken with tender meat and crisp skin that snaps just right. Simple on paper and sensational on the plate!

Dessert that demands a slow moment

  • We closed with the Chocolate Lava Cake, and let’s just say… There were no regrets. Warm, rich and indulgent with that perfect molten centre. A sweet, chocolatey mic drop to end the meal.

The Vibes? Off. The. Charts.

Live Latin band. People dancing between tables. A breeze from the terrace. Cocktails flowing. Skyline glittering. That moment when dinner turns into dancing and strangers turn into a crowd, that’s Ritmo Arriba for ya!

So… if you’re wondering how much this is for:

Ritmo Arriba Packages: Every Friday and Saturday, they offer two packages during Ritmo Arriba:

  • Ritmo 211 – AED 211 for three beverages and three dishes
  • Ritmo Libre – AED 311 for 2-hour free-flow beverages and three dishes
À la carte is also available.

The Verdict:

If you want a night that feeds your senses and your soul, this is your spot. Ritmo Arriba isn’t “dinner and drinks,” it’s flavour, rhythm, and rooftop magic rolled into one unforgettable night.
