There’s a hot new space to see the coolest music acts in town and it’s opening up in JBR’s Stereo Arcade.
Known for its local music and funky vibes, Stereo Arcade is celebrating its second birthday, and has revamped the pub section as Boom Room, and its set to host some EPIC music nights.
Opening its doors on Thursday, this club will be where the Stereo Arcade pub used to be, but looking quite different to what partygoers were accustomed to.
It’s fresh, it’s funky and it’s going to be a whole lot of fun.
Weekends will be all about hip hop and RnB, and there will be alternative club nights through out the week, with tunes ranging from funk, to electronic, to vinyl DJs and more!
The mural he’s created, tells the story of a young guy who breaks into an abandoned warehouse to tag the wall – but instead of doing the usual tagging he takes the time to create a story about how he’s been silenced his whole life.
DJ Andy Swift will be sorting the hip hop and RnB tunes, and it’s going to be out of this world – then DJ Dean Curtis playing the best in hip hop tunes on Friday.
From Thursday onwards, local popular acts from different music genres will be performing at Boom Room, so you can see all of your favourite acts, and find some new ones!
The Boom Room is located inside Stereo Arcade and is designed to support the region’s growing hip-hop scene. See the hottest acts in town at Boom Room.
