Following the sell-out Maroon 5 and Russell Peters shows, it’s safe to say that in a short space of time the Coca-Cola Arena has carved a reputation as an ace entertainment venue.
Pulling in big talent, the arena has already cultivated a strong indoor live music scene, and the next show on the ‘hit list’ for music lovers in Dubai, has just got to be The 1975.
This British English rock-pop group have taken the UK by storm, winners of both Brit Awards in 2019 and Grammy nominees in 2017. They hail from Manchester, (The Stone Roses, Oasis, Take That also call this spot home) so you could say this band has big shoes to fill. But, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matty Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel are paving their own way.
With number one albums, two Brit awards, sell-out arenas and headline performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza under The 1975’s belt, (they’re also heading to Reading & Leeds festivals in the coming months), it’s clear festival promoters have been queueing to sign one of the UK’s hottest acts onto their line up sheets.
But if you couldn’t make ‘Chella, no fear! Catch The 1975 in Dubai for one night only this August.
