Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll be well aware Dubai Fitness Challenge is currently taking place.
A city-wide aim to become the world’s fittest city… and as residents gear up for 30 minutes of exercise for 30 minutes daily, The Pointe is preparing to host you.
Transforming into a Fitness Hub, there’s a healthy market, countless classes to try and (Halloween lovers this is for you…) a Dia De Los Muertos” Day of The Dead Parade and Festival happening the following weekend.
Some classes you’ll know, others you won’t, The Pointe is hosting experiential workouts with many well-known trainers.
Interested? Check out the schedule here. You can try your hand at everything from yoga and a host of dance classes, (think: Zumba, Afro Beats, Reggaeton) there’s also HIIT Boxing with Adidas Boxing; RPM and water activities including kayaking and SUP.
There’s even something for the little ones! Kids can join dance classes by Cheeky Monkeys and kids gym by MyGym and Pinpoint Fitness.
While you’re there, don’t miss the healthy market, filled with delicious treats and minus the guilt. You can even get a free health check-up at Life Pharmacy… ideal!

Prepare for a day on your feet! To celebrate diwali, the festival of lights there will be a FULL DAY of dance workouts! Join as many as you want, take a breather in one of the many restaurants and cafes on the promenade before catching the sunset and fireworks show from 9pm!

Halloween is a holiday that everyone can enjoy and this year The Pointe is going BIG with a “Dia De Los Muertos” Day of The Dead Parade and Festival which will run for the entire weekend.
And the line-up sounds amazing!
There’ll be parades, dance classes, Latin music and DJs, kids Halloween workshops, face-painting, art installations, Mariachi bands and more, all inspired by Mexican culture. Can you keep up?! There’ll also be a Mexican market running throughout the weekend selling nachos and salsa, paintings and other art and decorations.
When? The festival will run from Oct 31 until Nov 2.
What’s on?
Thursday, Oct 31: Performances and prizes (smartphones, dining experiences and more!) for best costumes
Friday, November 1: The big parade, don’t miss this. Live music, dancing, and plenty of theatrics
Saturday, November 2. Outdoor movie time! Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald kicks off from 8.30pm
