The local car-booking service took to Facebook Live yesterday morning to announce their plans for Ramadan.
They are on a mission to help refugees in the region
Earlier this month Careem partnered with The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees which provides relief and help to refugees in the MENA region.

Now Careem has announced that they will be matching all donations made throughout Ramadan
Bassel Al Nahlaoui, vice-president for business development and government relations at Careem made the announcement yesterday.
He said that they were inspired by the generosity shown by leaders in the UAE.
They will be matching all donations made during Ramadan and the total amount raised will be announced throughout the month.
The kind gesture has been met with great praise
The initiative will run throughout Ramadan and Careem are encouraging all to get involved in booking cars and donating.
