2017 is also the Year of Giving in the UAE

“The month of Ramadan is an opportunity for us to consolidate the goals behind the Year of Giving, and to instil humanitarian values deep into the DNA of our people and culture,” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said.

“Spreading the spirit of giving is part of celebrating Ramadan”

Since the beginning of the Year of Giving over 1,400 initiatives have already been introduced across the UAE and they aim to recruit over 200,000 volunteers.

HH Sheikh Mohammed is encouraging all individuals and public and private sector institutions to support, promote and participate in spreading generosity this Ramadan.
