No official date has been confirmed in the UAE for beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan 2018, but with Oman setting a date, a UAE announcement could be close.

Oman officials have declared the first day of Ramadan 2018 will fall on Thursday, May 17, with Eid Al Fitr then set to fall on Friday, June 15, according to reports.

Oman’s Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs (MARA) announced on Sunday.
