The UAE moon sighting committee met this evening and have announced that Ramadan in the UAE officially begins tomorrow, 6 June 2016. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and one where Muslims fast. This annual observance is regarded as one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
