A Ramadan sharing fridge has been stolen from a home in Satwa this week.
The woman had reportedly set up the fridge on Tuesday as part of the Ramadan sharing fridge campaign – which helps give water and foods to those in need during the Holy Month – but the next day discovered the fridge was gone.
The woman posted on the UAE Sharing Fridges Facebook group, asking if anyone else had had their fridge stolen.
Where residents set up fridges outside their homes, in the streets and such with signs instructing anyone to help themselves to water and foods from the fridge – in several different languages.
