A classic Dubai story in which literally hundreds of people queued up for the release of a watch… and now it’s clear why.
This Saturday morning saw huge queues at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, people were waiting for the release of Omega and Swatch ‘MoonSwatch’, which was going on sale for AED950.
Shoppers on the day were given tokens, which were soon abandoned as the crowds surged. Shoppers were also told they could only buy one MoonSwatch which is a collab between Omega and Swatch… the same collab saw a Swatch store in London CLOSE after 30 minutes because of the crowds.
