Dubai Women Smash Guinness World Record In One Of The World’s Toughest Races

They call the Great Pacific Race ‘one of the world’s toughest and longest rowing races’.

And we are blown away by the incredible achievements of three women who crossed the mid-Pacific Ocean in a small rowing boat, rowing 4,400km over 60 days, 13 hours and 13 minutes to smash a Guinness World Record by two days!

The Great Pacific Race took racers Jane Leonard, Orlagh Dempsey, and Vicki Anstey from San Francisco to Hawaii in a grueling challenge and their finish is historic.

They have made history by setting a new race record of 60 days, 13 hours and 13 minutes, and a new WORLD record for crossing the Mid-Pacific at 60 days, 17 hours, and 6 minutes, with an average speed of 1.43 knots. 💪

They rowed from San Franciso to Hawaii in a small boat for a whopping 60 days, 17 hours, and 6 minutes and are the fastest EVER to do so

‘These girls are inspirational superheroes!’
