A young Instagram page is getting attention for its honest (and sometimes controversial) reviews about roast dinners in Dubai.

Thomas O’Hara, who goes under the ‘Gram handle @TheYorkshirePudding, puts the humble Yorkshire Pudding on a pedestal along with the entire roast dinner… We’re talking roasties, gravy and all of the sides. He’s got a highly contentious ‘Top 40’ Dubai roast listing and he updates it regularly by adding newcomers to the list.

To date, Thomas has reviewed 74 roast dinners in Dubai and he has revisited some places 10 times… One thing’s for sure O’Hara knows his roasts.

You get ALL food on the menu, not for small eaters!

Sundays 1pm to 4pm.

Decent roast with excellent variety, and everything tasted great. The Veal Belly Pie on the side was INCREDIBLE. Full of flavour and perfect crispness.
Brussel sprouts and mushrooms, two items rarely seen on the list, were both delicious. Yorkshire pudding was slightly too crispy, roasties were too boiled and gravy slightly too thin. A feast of food to tackle and I enjoyed tackling it!

Only (hops brand) bottles available, but they do bring a 3/4 glass with it. However the glass shape appeared to make the beer flat.

Incredible restaurant located on the 74th floor of SLS Hotel. Picturesque views, perfect inside decor and perfect ambience. DJ playing tunes from 2pm, providing excellent background tunes and creating a great atmosphere.
