WATCH: HH Sheikh Mohammed Meeting The Late Egyptian President In This Rarely Seen Clip
The video titled ‘Ruler of Dubai visits U.A.R’ was taken in 1959 and shows HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum as a boy with his father, the late Emir of Dubai HH Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The footage shows the two visiting the then United Arab Republic, at a time when there was a brief political union between Egypt and Syria, and their meeting with Egypt’s second President, the late Gamal Abdel Nasser Hussein.
