One Of The Biggest Traffic Jams On UAE Border Was Witnessed This Week And Photos Of The High Congestion Went VIRAL

Avatar

A significantly high traffic congestion over the UAE-Oman border was witnessed on Wednesday.

It’s reported that many Omani residents thronged to the UAE via Al Ain to celebrate the Islamic holiday Al Isra’a Wal Mi’raj, which was on April 3.

This resulted in a MAJOR jam which, literally, brought vehicles to a standstill in the town of Buraimi.

No sooner had the traffic congestion started than pictures and videos of the jam flooded social media.

Several commuters stuck in the jam took to Twitter and Instagram to update about the situation

People started complaining that they should’ve rather stayed at home

Eeek….this looks brutal

In January, the RTA started a handy bus service between Muscat, Oman and Dubai which made it easier to travel between the two countries.

The new affordable service was priced at AED55 one way, and AED90 for a round trip.
