People came out in their thousands to grieve the death of Dana Al Jarrar.

An Instagram post from Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior tells the tragic story of the 14-year-old Jordanian girl who died in a car accident on the Al Ain-Dubai road on Friday which left her parents, two sisters and brother hospitalised with severe injuries.

They could not attend the funeral.

After the story broke a local mosque said they would pray for her soul…and approximately 3,000 people arrived to the mosque to grieve the death.

The video was posted with caption which reads

“A Jordanian child called Dana died in a car accident, and her parents are in the hospital. When news broke on social media about her funeral and that they will pray for her soul in the mosque, the mosque was full of people and the skeikh saluted the people for their support and wished the parents a full recovery.”
