OPA Is Hosting An Iftar And It’s A Fantastic Break From The Usual Mold

If you’ve experienced the Holy Month of Ramadan in Dubai, you’ll know what a special time it is.

The city takes a breather; because whether you’re fasting or not, people take a respectful approach to the month, working hours get shorter and at sunset friends and family of all nationalities and religions come together to break fast.

And while there are many options throughout the city, this one takes the biscuit for an untraditional venue offering an incredible iftar spread.

OPA has an iftar menu and it’s chock-full of Mediterranean food for you to try

OPA is a little taste of Greece on SZR

The restaurant idea was born from a Greek family with generations of cooking in their blood.

Then during a chance trip to Dubai, the family realised the Greek style of celebrating food wasn’t properly represented here. And so, a man named Kyriakos and his family transported the rich tradition of history and cooking to our fair city.

And now OPA will be open for Ramadan, meaning you can experience a fantastic set-menu for just AED195 throughout the Holy Month.

The ultimate venue to explore Greek tradition this Ramadan

Come sunset, you’ll break fast with the soup of the day, a fab selection of dips, a mix of hot and cold starters, a variety of mains and desserts including grilled halloumi, lamb gyros, imam bayildi, loukoumades and much more…. by the way, loukoumades are fried dough balls, they’re simply little balls of heaven and you need to try them.

Seriously, how good does this spread look?
