9. Head to a street-music festival at Bluewaters

This is awesome. Bluewaters has created a street music festival, and it’s happening every weekend for the next couple of weeks. Kicking off an Thursdays and bringing you straight through Friday and Saturday; you’ll find local and regional musicians dotted all around the newly opened island – definitely worth checking out.

8. The Lovin Dubai Cruise sets sail EVERY Saturday

How good does a Saturday cruise on a mega yacht sound with all your food and drinks sorted?

7. Dubai Jazz Festival kicks off at Dubai Media Amphitheatre tonight

Doors open at 6pm tonight for what promises to be an absolutely terrific weekend of music.

6. See the world’s best tennis players at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

World-class tennis is happening right on our door step with the women’s week currently underway, followed by the first round of men’s week kicking off on Monday.

Back-to-back grand slam winner Naomi Osaka had a shock defeat to Dubai’s own Kristina Mladenovic, however the ladies round still sees top players Petra Kvitova, Simona Halep, Karolina Pliskova and Angelique Kerber competing for the title.

5. Deep house fans get yourself to Snoopy Beats

This looks INSANE. Music lovers make room for two incredible nights at Sandy Beach Hotel & Resort on Snoopy Island, Fujairah.

From January to April, part of an island appears and THIS is where the “Space Odyssey” themed party happens. Parties like this don’t happen very often in the UAE.
