9. Be the first to visit the world’s first EVER Masterchef restaurant

Gahhhhh! Fans of the tv show will be buzzing for this. The cooking show that’s so popular it’s spawned countless spinoffs worldwide has now chosen Dubai to open its very first restaurant.

MasterChef, the TV Experience restaurant itself looks identical to the show set, you’ll find dishes from previous show winners on the menu and (the very best part) diners can challenge chefs to the Mystery Box experience, where they’ll have strictly 45 minutes to whip you up something amazing (you’ll pick the base foods to ensure it’s to your taste).

Find it in the brand new Emerald Palace Kempinski on the Palm – this newly opened hotel is a jewel on the Dubai hotel scene and absolutely worth a visit, even if it’s just to have a gawk at the seriously impressive hotel lobby.

7 at Skorpeus runs every Thursday and Friday from 8.30pm – 11pm and your ticket includes a five-course meal plus drinks.

How much? AED300 for drinks only with show, AED350 with show and soft drinks and AED495 house drinks, food and show
