This is NOT your average dinner show, and for Dubai standards, it’s pretty racy. Think burlesque boudoir-meets-bunker vibes, with a whole lot of entertainment to go with a five course meal.
Dancers in flamboyant outfits go between a stage and the audience and each mini-show throughout the evening is related to a deadly sin.
Find it in the brand new Emerald Palace Kempinski on the Palm – this newly opened hotel is a jewel on the Dubai hotel scene and absolutely worth a visit, even if it’s just to have a gawk at the seriously impressive hotel lobby.
7 at Skorpeus runs every Thursday and Friday from 8.30pm – 11pm and your ticket includes a five-course meal plus drinks.
How much? AED499 soft drinks, AED669 house drinks, AED799 premium drinks
This kicked off on Tuesday night and the reviews so far are amazing. Watch the journey of the King of Pop’s 45-year musical history, with hits like ‘Bad’, ‘Thriller’ (duh!), and ‘Smooth Criminal’, brought to life by a group of talented dancers and a FAB stage set-up.
And in a rare deal, you can do dinner (at Kizmet!) and a show for just AED470.
This deal is ONLY available for the Wednesday (8pm), Friday (2.30pm) and Saturday (2.30 pm and 8pm) shows.
You’ve ONLY got ‘til March 30 to catch Thriller Live at Dubai Opera- make it happen! Tickets available now, get them here

There’s nothing like a gripping true story to reel you in and this thriller featuring incredible Oscar-winning duo Mel Gibson and Sean Penn does exactly that, telling the compelling story of the compilation of the first Oxford English Dictionary.
Based on the 1998 book `The Surgeon of Crowthorne’, Oxford professor (Gibson) and a convicted murderer and madman (Penn) form an unlikely partnership and you’ll be hooked from start to finish.
The Professor and the Madman opens in cinemas across Dubai on March 28- don’t miss it!
Feeling this.
The world marks Earth Hour this coming Saturday between 8.30pm and 9.30pm when *hopefully people observe by turning off our lights to support efforts to tackle climate change.
The stars should be a little clearer on this night and Hillhouse Brasserie at Dubai Hills Golf Club is hosting a stargazing session. Pay AED150 for an unlimited sustainable menu and eat by candlelight. The venue will provide telescopes and a BBQ including rump steak, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, loaded burgers, grilled corn and jacket potatoes, with a selection of salads.

Taverna Greek Kitchen has just opened on the edge of the Madinat waterways and it comes complete with stone walls, wooden fixtures with an authentic menu to match. Think Greek vibes through and through, this chic resto feels like it’s been lifted from a Baleric island and dropped right here in Dubai.
Plus, the food is incredible. It’s sharing style with classic Greek dishes Tzatziki, Taramosalata and Athinaiki or for something a little unique try the slow braised octopus with vinegar, oregano, onion, Salicornia and extra virgin olive oil. There’s an amazing fresh fish selection and do not leave without trying the Greek coffee tiramisu – DE-LISH.
Taverna Greek Kitchen is now open at the Souk Madinat. More info here
