Under the directives of\u00a0President HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and with\u00a0the support of HH Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyann, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the UAE has just signed an AED734million assistance fund with Pakistan.<\/p>\n
The third phase of the\u00a0UAE Pakistan Assistance Programme (UAE PAP) aims to support initiatives for a better future, funding projects that offer\u00a0sustainability and continuous benefits to beneficiaries over the long run, according to Wam.ae.<\/p>\n
A memorial plaque was presented to\u00a0the Chief of the Pakistani Army<\/h3>\n
The agreement was signed on May 6,\u00a0marking the 51st anniversary of the drive of humanitarian aid for Pakistan initiated by late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1967. The date was recognised across the region, 100 years since the founding father of the UAE was born.<\/p>\n
