The Middle East is a magnet for American food chains, so it’s no surprise a cult, gourmet eatery that’s hugely trendy in LA decided to venture out here.<\/p>\n
The brand opened up in Kuwait, one of the region’s more conservative states, however, its unsavoury name didn’t last long.<\/p>\n
Restaurants need licenses, so you can assume the name flew under the radar during the set-up process, but as soon as the branding went up, images quickly got shared on social and within hours, the name was amended. Eggslut became Eggslot.<\/p>\n
