Rumours are circulating in the UAE regarding the introduction of Salik toll gates in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n

The unconfirmed rumours state that four tolls will be introduced in the capital at\u00a0Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, Mussafah Bridge and Maqta Bridge and a cost of AED4 would be charged to pass through during peak hours and AED3 during non-peak hours and weekends.<\/p>\n

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Transport has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours and according to ARN, an official announcement is expected on this tomorrow.<\/p>\n
