The Amazon rainforest is responsible for generating 20% of the world’s oxygen, so this tragic forest fire has RAPIDLY accelerated the rate of global warming.<\/p>\n

Environmentalists and conservationists have accused the\u00a0Brazilian government and President, Jair Bolsonaro who took office in January 2019 for overlooking environmental programmes and completely prioritising economic sectors.<\/p>\n
