It’s been announced that Dubai Marina will be hosting the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series final\u00a0on October 28th this year. Never heard of it? Don’t worry…The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series is one of the most adrenaline-inducing competitions in the world\u00a0where the competitors literally<\/strong> dive off cliffs. This\u00a0is one event that should definitely not<\/em> be missed.<\/p>\n

Ok, so we know exactly what you’re thinking:\u00a0What cliffs?! Well, since cliffs are next to none in Dubai, Pier 7 has stepped up to the challenge and have been\u00a0announced \u00a0as the location for the finale of the 2016 series. Woohoo!<\/p>\n

As you would expect, since the first competition in 2009, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series\u00a0has grown steadily\u00a0and is now one of the biggest spectator sports that have come to us, courtesy of Red Bull. It’s said it takes around three secondds from take off to landing and \u00a0that those taking\u00a0part can reach\u00a0speeds of up to 85kph before they hit the surface. Yikes!<\/p>\n
