This year is the ‘Year of Tolerance’ in the UAE.<\/span><\/p>\n

The idea is to promote cultural, communal, racial, religious tolerance within the country and raise awareness about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

So many volunteers came together to be a part of the event\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the spirit of tolerance about 5,000 people volunteered to come together and make the largest carpet of flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative is called ‘Flowers of Tolerance’, and the whole idea was to try and break the Guinness World Record.<\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteers from over 150 nationalities came together at the parking of Dubai Festival city to make the largest flower carpet with 50 tonnes of flowers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was a part of the National Festival for Tolerance and Human Fraternity 2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The flower carpet took shape of iconic landmarks in Dubai such as Burj Khalifa<\/h2>\n
