Progress is being made every week on the development for Expo 2020. Yesterday, the designer for the UAE pavilion\u00a0was selected with one photo of the winning design being released.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The company who would the contract to create the Pavillion are called Falcon Design. The concept, by Spanish Architect Santiago Calatrava , the same guy who designed the Dubai Tower. This design was chosen from a shortlist of 11 based on how they represented the Expo theme of\u00a0Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The pavilion will be built on a 15,000-square-metre site facing Al Wasl Plaza at the centre of the 200-hectare exhibition zone.
