Dubai Police were made aware of an incident at 11.52pm after the accident was reported along Baniyas Street.<\/p>\n
The car was 37ft deep and had travelled 130 metres beyond the crash site when Police lifted it from the water using a police crane.<\/p>\n

\u201cA rescue team including divers from Dubai Police was immediately dispatched to the scene and reached the site within only four minutes. They secured the driver who had already managed to break out of the sinking car and swim towards an iron ladder and climb up to the sidewalk.\u201d Lt. Col Al-Naqbi said.<\/p>\n
