The pilot was ordered to take an alcohol test,\u00a0when he declined\u00a0he was stood down and the flight was cancelled.<\/p>\n<h3>Emirates released a statement saying member of crew had a medical issue<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cEmirates can confirm that flight EK425 from Perth to Dubai on 9 October 2016 was cancelled due to operational reasons arising from a medical issue involving a crew member.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Passengers were transferred to another flight after a 16 hour delay and an apology from Emirates<\/h3>\n<p>The airline has a strict no tolerance rule to alcohol consumption.
