{"id":4704,"date":"2017-09-20T11:42:45","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T11:42:45","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2017-09-20T11:42:45","modified_gmt":"2017-09-20T11:42:45","slug":"parking-fines-are-going-to-get-cheaper-in-abu-dhabi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovin.co\/dubai\/en\/abu-dhabi\/parking-fines-are-going-to-get-cheaper-in-abu-dhabi\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking Fines Are Thankfully Going To Get Cheaper In Abu Dhabi"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"c-adunit c-adunit--mpu\">\n<div id=\"mpu\" class=\"c-adunit__container\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Parking fines are being reduced in Abu Dhabi, it was\u00a0announced on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport (DMAT)\u00a0released a statement on reducing parking fines:\u00a0 &#8220;As part of its plans to offer the best services and improve Abu Dhabi\u2019s Parking Division&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>The fines\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>Fines for illegal parking in residential areas will be reduced to AED200, down from AED500.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> The fine for parking in bus and taxi bays is being halved &#8211; AED500 from the previous\u00a0AED1,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Using a ticket or permit from the incorrect area will be AED100 instead of AED200.<\/p>\n<p>Two new fines have been introduced; avoiding paying fines will incur an AED1,000 cost and using fake tickets or permits will be an AED10,000 fine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Other fines are staying the same.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-adunit c-adunit--mpu_mid\">\n<div id=\"mpu_mid\" class=\"c-adunit__container\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Parking fines are being reduced in Abu Dhabi, it was\u00a0announced on Saturday.
