This weekend, the UAE released a list of countries that its citizens are banned from traveling to.<\/p>\n

This is, of course, part of an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (especially the new variants)<\/h2>\n

The UAE\u2019s National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority stated that the following countries are currently off-limits to UAE citizens: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, and Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Exceptions to the ban include diplomats and those seeking emergency medical treatment.<\/p>\n
