GITEX GLOBAL shines a spotlight on future tech and this year, the tech that’s grabbing the limelight? Flying cars.<\/p>\n
XPENG AEROHT unveiled its electric flying car at Gitex, a low-altitude air mobility explorer<\/a> that’s dubbed the \u2018world\u2019s safest intelligent electric flying car\u2019. It\u2019s fuel efficient, can reach speeds of up to 130\u00a0\u00a0km\/h and can hold a 560kg flight weight for a total of 35 minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n XPENG AEROHT i<\/span>s the largest flying car company in Asia and it’s one of the hundreds of flying car companies with major investments in the industry. <\/span>Established in 2013, the company has accumulated 15,000 safe manned flights. It has won multiple industrial design awards and raised\u00a0over US$500 million for its Series A capital funding on October 19, 2021.<\/p>\n Dr Brian Gu, vice-chairman and president of XPeng said that first and foremost the company is ensuring the capability of the aircraft followed by its safety and customer compliance.
