Keeping in norms with laws and regulations, and to ensure an enjoyable but respectful experience for the fans, FIFA has decided that no alcohol will be sold in the perimeter of any of the eight stadiums<\/h2>\n

A Twitter statement was issued by FIFA regarding beer sales at the World Cup stadiums.\u00a0With two days remaining until the start of the tournament, the statement mentioned that alcoholic-free Bud Zero will still be available for purchase at the venue.<\/p>\n

This is the first time that the FIFA World Cup will be hosted in a Muslim country and this calculated decision between Qatar and FIFA ensures respect to the host country and its laws.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, licensed places and other fan festivals and destinations are open to the sale of alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n
