You probably do not know what downtime is because you live in Dubai. Downtime is when electricity shuts off, and, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, declared DEWA’s groundbreaking achievement of the world’s lowest electricity Customer Minutes Lost (CML) in 2023, recording a mere 1.06 minutes per customer, surpassing the 2022 record of 1.19 minutes.<\/p>\n

This achievement, compared to around 15 minutes by top EU utility companies, reflects DEWA’s commitment to innovation and smart grid management, in alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for advancing Dubai’s energy and water infrastructure.<\/p>\n
