{"id":8925,"date":"2018-01-11T09:44:15","date_gmt":"2018-01-11T09:44:15","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2018-01-11T09:44:15","modified_gmt":"2018-01-11T09:44:15","slug":"2018-dubai-uae-concerts-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lovin.co\/dubai\/en\/feature\/2018-dubai-uae-concerts-music\/","title":{"rendered":"7 Wicked Acts That Might Just Come To The UAE In 2018 To Perform"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"c-adunit c-adunit--mpu\">\n<div id=\"mpu\" class=\"c-adunit__container\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>It&#8217;s the start of a new year, and there&#8217;s so much to look forward to.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last year saw some of the best and most popular artists from around the globe perform in the UAE &#8211; including Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, P!nk, Kygo and Katy Perry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And this year, we&#8217;re already getting excited for the huge host of acts coming next month for RedFestDXB.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But what else is coming?\u00a0Here are a few thoughts from our team on who might be coming to the UAE&#8217;s concert stadiums.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>1. Taylor Swift<\/h3>\n<p>Tay-Tay loves a tour, and this year sees her Reputation World Tour begin in May in Arizona, US and will see 51 shows globally, ending in Auckland, NZ in November&#8230; just in time for the UAE&#8217;s huge music season to kick off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The question is, is the UAE <em>ready for it?\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wIft-t-MQuE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>2. The Killers<\/h3>\n<p>They&#8217;re set for an Australia tour, and Dubai\/the UAE tends to come as a stop-over on the way back home at the beginning or end of a tour of Australia or Asia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re in America now, then will head to Europe, South America, New Zealand and Australia throughout the next six months, so we can hope there&#8217;s time for a UAE concert thrown in there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/D7JorwX31CQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>3. Justin Timberlake\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>He&#8217;s just released his funky new song, &#8216;Filthy&#8217;, and is touring North America in March and April.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He previously performed in 2014 at du Arena at Yas Island in Abu\u00a0Dhabi\u00a0but you never know &#8211; he could be due for a Dubai appearance!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gA-NDZb29I4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>4. Macklemore\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>He came to du Arena back in 2014 too (in the <em>Good Old Days<\/em>)\u00a0&#8211; and is currently readying to rock the stages in\u00a0Australia before popping over to the UK for some gigs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s all part of his Gemini tour, which has already blitzed through North America.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-adunit c-adunit--mpu_mid\">\n<div id=\"mpu_mid\" class=\"c-adunit__container\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1yYV9-KoSUM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>5. Harry Styles\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>With a 60-strong show tour coming up starting on March 11, Styles will be jetting from Europe to Australasia, then to Asia and South America and up to North America in a MASSIVE world tour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He hasn&#8217;t performed in the UAE since he was one fifth of One Direction.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While no UAE date is listed, there&#8217;s always a chance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qN4ooNx77u0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>6. Bruno Mars\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>With his 24K Magic World Tour which is concluding in London&#8217;s Hyde Park on July 14. It has been going on since March 2017, so will be more than 16 months of concerts &#8211; he&#8217;d be remiss to NOT come to the UAE in that time&#8230;right?\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"content__video\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LsoLEjrDogU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h3>7.
