It is not a great week to fly.

An Etihad Airways flight on Wednesday morning had to be diverted when a cow threatened to stray onto the runway. (It just wouldn’t mooove.)

The cow had managed to enter the operational area of the airport and there was a possibility of it coming on to the runway

The flight from Abu Dhabi was to land in Ahmedabad but had to be diverted to Mumbai instead. (To avoid any mis-steaks during landing.)

Two flights were diverted to Mumbai while a few other arrivals and departures were delayed.

The security staff were finally able to drive the cow out of the area

According to a report, the number of bird hits and animals straying onto runways was on the rise in India. (It is udder chaos when it happens.)

We may have butchered this story…
